In the area of access control, we have implemented an advanced system powered by Genetec technology, which allows secure and autonomous entry for visitors without the need for physical cards. This transformation has revolutionized the entry process, making it faster and more efficient.

Visitors can easily manage their access through web and mobile platforms, providing a modern and convenient experience. For those who prefer a physical interaction, a customized totem has been installed, designed to be intuitive and accessible. This device enables quick and autonomous access, catering to the diverse needs of users.

Additionally, the system includes an automated email confirmation process, ensuring that visitors receive all the necessary information before their arrival. With this innovation, the Port of Gijón reinforces its commitment to sustainability by eliminating physical resources like cards, while leading the digitalization of processes in port infrastructure.

Employee Time Tracking System: Compliance with 2025 Regulations

In parallel, we have developed an advanced clocking-in system for employees, designed to comply with Spanish labour regulations that will require time recording from this year onwards. This system marks a significant advance in internal personnel management, allowing for more accurate and efficient control.

The system features an interactive screen connected to a card reader, enabling employees to log entries, exits, breaks, and other operational statuses, such as breakfast or travel time. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, ensuring ease of use and minimizing human errors.

All data is recorded automatically, ensuring complete traceability, compliance with regulations, and easier internal control. This system not only optimizes operational efficiency but also strengthens security and accuracy in managing work schedules and employee activities.
